The budget session of the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha commences today with Governor Harichandan’s address. During the session, a total of 14 meetings will take place. On March 6, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will present the final budget of his term. According to a notification issued by the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, the budget session will run from March 1 to March 24. Along with the financial year’s work, other government work will also be done.
Today, under the chairmanship of Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, a meeting of the business advisory committee of the cabinet was held in the committee room of the Vidhan Sabha. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, opposition leader Narayan Chandel, parliamentary affairs minister Ravindra Chaube, deputy speaker of the Vidhan Sabha Santaram Netam and other members of the committee.
