Drug Peddlers from Punjab caught Red handed in Raipur with Brown Sugar

Raipur Police continued their crackdown on drug trafficking, arresting two individuals from Punjab for delivering brown sugar. They were caught red-handed by a joint team of the anti-crime and cyber unit and Saraswati Nagar police, based on a tip received on February 3rd. The intended recipient of the drugs, Rupinder Singh alias Pinder, a resident of Kabir Nagar in Raipur and a habitual offender, managed to escape the police raid. Kanwaljeet Singh, 22 and Balraj Singh, 20, both residents of Tarantaran in Punjab, were interrogated and confessed to bringing the drugs from Punjab for delivery to Rupinder. The accused have been booked under Section 21B and 29 of the Narcotics Act. The police are currently searching for Rupinder, who has served jail terms several times in drug peddling cases.
