Parliamentary Secretary Shishupal Shorey inaugurated the road strengthening project spanning 11.80 kilometers from Makadi Dhaba to Fattchand Markatola at Makadi Chowk. The project, which is located in the Kanker-Bhanupratappur-Sambalpur region, comes at a cost of 8 crore 98 lakh 69 thousand.
Highlighting the significance of roads as a reflection of a region’s development, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Shorey emphasized their crucial role in fostering progress. He underscored that the state government is actively engaged in development initiatives across all areas, from rural villages to urban centers. Notably, the ongoing road construction projects in the Kanker assembly have been expedited, directly benefiting the local population.
The inaugural event witnessed the presence of Mr. Nitin Potai, a member of the Scheduled Tribes Commission, along with public representatives, officials, and a large number of villagers.
