Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and Senior Superintendent of Police, Mr. Prashant Agarwal, recently conducted an inspection of the Tatibandh flyover under construction in the border area of Raipur city. During the visit, the collector emphasized the need for swift completion of the overbridge. Once finished, the residents of Raipur will experience significant relief from traffic congestion, while vehicles traveling from Raipur to Durg-Bhilai will benefit from a more convenient route, saving valuable time. Instructing the installation of indicators, shineboards, and adequate lighting on both sides of the bridge, the collector highlighted the importance of ensuring clear and safe navigation.
The Tatibandh Over Bridge is set to become a major road connecting Raipur and Durg, with a length of over 3.5 km. Vehicles coming from Durg will have three options upon reaching the overbridge. The first option is to take the exit from Ring Road No.-02 towards Bhanpuri, while the second option allows for alighting from Bharat Mata School towards AIIMS and Ravi Shankar University. The third option involves alighting towards Sarona, heading towards Ring Road No.-01. For vehicles traveling from Raipur to Durg, the route involves climbing from the Sarona side, crossing the bridge, and descending towards Kumhari. It’s important to note that the flyover will not be accessible from Ring Road No-02 and AIIMS side.
The inspection underscores the significance of completing the Tatibandh flyover, not only in alleviating traffic congestion but also in enhancing connectivity between Raipur and Durg. Once operational, this crucial infrastructure project will contribute to smoother commuting experiences for residents and travelers alike.
