In a momentous stride toward enhancing employment prospects for the youth of Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Center. This pioneering initiative is poised to extend a platform to 500 Chhattisgarh youths, offering a diverse range of employment avenues. The inauguration event bore witness to Chief Minister Baghel presenting job letters to 100 deserving youths, reflecting the state’s unwavering commitment to fostering sustainable employment opportunities.
The BPO Center, established with an investment of nearly ten crore rupees, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Baghel in front of the Collector’s Office. This contemporary center not only signifies technological advancement but also encapsulates Chief Minister Baghel’s vision of empowering local youths by equipping them with contemporary skills.
The selection process for candidates aspiring to work at the BPO Center garnered an overwhelming response, with approximately a thousand applications received. Following a rigorous three-day screening process, over six hundred youths were shortlisted for interviews. The intensive interview process culminated in the selection of 100 candidates who will form part of the BPO Center’s workforce. Furthermore, the final selection of the remaining four hundred youths will be concluded in the upcoming 10-15 days. Post a month-long training program, these individuals will be absorbed into the BPO Center, bolstering their employability and enhancing their skill sets.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel taking selfies with the youths, capturing the essence of hope and aspirations that this initiative encapsulates. The event was graced by the presence of various dignitaries including Dr. Shiv Dahariya, Civic Administration Minister, Ejaaz Dhebar, Civic Mayor of Raipur, Kuldeep Juneja, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Home Construction Board, Gyanesh Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission, Pramod Dubey, Civic Council President, and Jitendra Agrawal and Akash Tiwari among other council members.
The BPO Center, with its innovative approach to generating employment, stands as a testament to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s dedication to the youth of Chhattisgarh.
