At a press conference held at the BJP office in Ekatm Complex, BJP State General Secretary OP Chaudhary made scathing allegations against the Congress government in Chhattisgarh, accusing it of running a “mafia government.” Chaudhary claimed that the Congress party has established mafia rule across the state, extending its influence even into the Public Service Commission (PSC) and other recruitment agencies.
Chaudhary cited recent incidents involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his visit to Bilaspur, where enraged youth confronted him with complaints about alleged PSC irregularities. Despite the youth’s grievances and complaints, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel dismissed their concerns, leading Chaudhary to assert that Chhattisgarh has become an “ATM” for the Gandhi family, effectively silencing Rahul Gandhi on the issue.
Chaudhary pointed out that the High Court has issued a stay order on the appointment of 18 individuals, raising questions about why Chief Minister Baghel has not taken any action in response to the situation.
He also highlighted the frustration and anger among Chhattisgarh’s youth, who have made allegations of corruption in various government appointments, with claims that significant sums of money are being exchanged for positions such as Deputy Collector and DSP.
Chaudhary criticized Chief Minister Baghel for not taking proactive measures to address allegations of corruption and suppressive actions against those who come forward with complaints. Despite calls for a CBI inquiry and numerous complaints, the government has reportedly resorted to intimidating complainants and threatening those who speak out.
Chaudhary concluded by stating that the youth of Chhattisgarh have become aware of the Congress government’s alleged misconduct and are determined to hold the government accountable in upcoming elections.
