Raipur Police conducted a successful operation, apprehending 11 individuals who were caught red-handed engaging in gambling activities in the transport garage located behind Hotel Grand Rajputana under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ganj. The police confiscated a substantial sum of Rs 2,00,920/- in cash, 09 mobile phones, 02 two-wheelers, and a set of playing cards from the accused.
A case has been registered against the accused under Crime number 324/23, sections 04 and 05 of the Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act in Police Station Ganj. The authorities are taking strict action against illegal gambling activities in the area to maintain law and order.
