Every year during Ganeshotsav, the residents of the capital city of Raipur eagerly anticipate the magnificent tableaux depicting Lord Ganesha. This tradition holds a special place in Raipur, with the entire city staying awake in anticipation of the enchanting depictions of Lord Ganesha. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, along with other Raipur citizens, partook in the festivities and worshiped Lord Ganesha while expressing his admiration for the committee members.
He congratulated the committee members, acknowledging the exquisite tableau they had prepared. He emphasized the importance of passing down cultural traditions to the younger generation. CM Baghel commended the long-standing traditions maintained by these committees, which may have been initiated by previous generations in their respective localities. The Chief Minister took the opportunity to observe the tableau portraying Lord Ganesha in various forms.
The tableau featured various forms of Lord Ganesha, including Lord Vishnu and the iconic depiction of Lord Krishna breaking a pot to steal curd. The event was attended by Parliamentary Secretary Vikas Upadhyay, Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Raipur Ejaz Dhebar, Chairman of the Mineral Development Corporation Girish Dewangan, as well as prominent citizens and a large audience.
