The much-anticipated cabinet expansion in Chhattisgarh is scheduled for Tuesday, with preparations already initiated at Raipur’s indoor stadium. A crucial meeting of the BJP core group in Delhi, attended by National President JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh, deliberated on the cabinet formation in consultation with State In-Charge Om Mathur, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, and senior leaders.

Swearing-in Ceremony Tomorrow Evening:
The state assembly session, set to begin on December 19, will witness the Protem Speaker administering the oath of office and secrecy to all MLAs. Additionally, the Governor is scheduled to address the House on the same day. Subsequently, the swearing-in ceremony for the cabinet is planned to commence around 7 pm.
Blend of Fresh and Experienced Faces:
Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, alongside Deputy CMs Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, returned from Delhi on Monday and addressed the media regarding the discussions held in the national capital. Responding to inquiries about the inclusion of new faces in the cabinet, Sai indicated that both fresh and seasoned leaders would find a place in the upcoming cabinet. He hinted at a balanced representation but advised patience for the final reveal.
