Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan presided over the oath-taking ceremony of the elected Legislative Assembly member, Shri Ramvichar Netam, who was sworn in as the Protem Speaker. The ceremony, held at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, witnessed the solemn oath being taken by Shri Netam in Chhattisgarhi, affirming his unwavering loyalty to the Constitution of India and commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and integrity.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma, Assembly Speaker Shri Charan Das Mahant, former Chief Ministers Shri Bhupesh Baghel and Dr. Raman Singh, alongside esteemed dignitaries including former ministers and MLAs such as Shri Brijmohan Aggarwal, Shri Rajesh Munat, Mr. Punnulal Mohile, Mr. Ajay Chandrakar, and Mr. Dayaldas Baghel. Additionally, former Assembly Speaker and MLA Mr. Dharamlal Kaushik, newly elected MLAs, public representatives, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Renuji Pillai, Mr. Subrata Sahu, and Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja were also in attendance.
The proceedings were conducted under the guidance of Chhattisgarh Assembly Secretary Shri Dinesh Sharma, while the event witnessed the presence of Secretary to the Governor Shri Amrit Kumar Khalkho, Deputy Secretary Shri Deepak Aggarwal, and senior administrative officers.
