In a gesture of appreciation and recognition, members of the Scouts and Guides, led by Education Minister Brijmohan Agarwal, President of Bharat Scouts and Guides Chhattisgarh, met with Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai on the evening of January 12. During the meeting, Chief Minister Sai was adorned with the prestigious patron badge by the Scouts and Guides team. The event witnessed the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Shri Arun Sao, and Executive President of Scouts and Guides Shri Rajesh Aggarwal.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai commended the commendable work undertaken by the Scouts and Guides, expressing his admiration for their service during disasters. He stated, “The way you people engage in service work during disasters is truly inspiring.” Notably, the Governor of the state serves as the chief patron, with the Chief Minister as the patron and the Education Minister as the state president of Scouts and Guides.
During the gathering, Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal shared insights into the ongoing efforts to organize the National Jamboree in Chhattisgarh in the Platinum Jubilee year 2025. The Scouts and Guides team also submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Sai outlining their plans and initiatives.
Former State Chief Commissioner G Swami, State Secretary Kailash Soni, Sarita Pandey, Vikas Tiwari, and Dilip Patel were among the prominent personalities present at the event.
The meeting underscored the collaborative efforts between the government and Scouts and Guides, emphasizing their commitment to community service and the development of youth in Chhattisgarh. The discussions about the upcoming National Jamboree in 2025 further highlight the dedication of Scouts and Guides to fostering a spirit of camaraderie and leadership among the youth of the state.
