Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom company, has launched its 5G Plus services in Raipur and Durg-Bhilai. The rollout of these services will be done in a phased manner as the company continues to construct its network. The company stated that customers with 5G-enabled devices can enjoy high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the network is fully deployed.
Sujay Chakrabarti, CEO of Bharti Airtel for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, expressed his excitement about the launch, saying, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Raipur and Durg-Bhilai. Airtel customers in these two cities can now experience ultrafast network speeds of up to 20-30 times faster than current 4G speeds.”
In Raipur, areas such as Pandhri, Gol Bazar, Bhartagaon, Santoshi Nagar, and Gudihari now have access to Airtel’s 5G services. Chakrabarti added, “We are in the process of lighting up entire cities which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to hi-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.”
In Durg-Bhilai, areas like Ispat Nagar, Subhash Chowk, Priyadarshini, and Ramnagar Road now have access to Airtel 5G services. As the company continues to expand its network, its services will become available in more locations in these cities.
