In the early hours of Friday, a fire broke out in the hospital sector of Bhilai township, causing extensive damage to around 30 slums and two motorcycles. While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, local officials, including MLA Devendra Yadav, Mayor Neeraj Pal, Councilor Siju Anthony, and Ekansh Banchore, have arrived at the scene to provide relief efforts.
Councilor Siju Anthony stated that food and water arrangements are being made for the affected people, and discussions are underway to determine where they should be resettled. The officials are working to deliver essential supplies and aid to the affected families.
While no injuries have been reported, the people of the area have suffered a great loss due to this act of arson. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing, and local authorities are doing everything possible to assist those affected.
