Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure Addresses Public Concerns in Jan Chaupal Meeting
Today, more than 40 individuals from different development blocks of the district came to the collector’s meeting room to voice their concerns to Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure through Jan Chaupal.
Deepak Jangde of village Jilki in Abhanpur tehsil, Mahesh Verma of Shivanand Nagar in Khamtarai, and residents of Sahupara Brahmapuri all shared complaints regarding issues in their respective areas. Jangde hoped to receive benefits from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, while Verma expressed concerns over vehicle parking on an ongoing road. The residents of Sahupara Brahmapuri raised complaints over illegal occupation.
Other individuals present at the meeting also gave their applications to improve their localities. Munna Thakur from Kushalpur requested an immersion tank for worship material in Malsai pond, as well as a platform for shaving rituals and toiletries. Kamlesh Chauhan from Raipur sought demarcation of his land, while Khemram Sahu from village P Jamgaon hoped for a correction of a settlement error. Residents of Ganesh Vihar Changorabhata requested electrification facilities, while Rajaram Tandon from village Parabhat hoped for the restart of his disabled pension. Pandritrai Shivani Patil of Dev Vihar Colony Bhatagaon applied for a permanent electricity connection, and social worker Suresh Dewan sought the repair of the Gidhauri road from village Akoli and the checking of vehicles in the Siltara industrial area. Vrindavan Nagar resident Laxmi Tandi also submitted an application to improve the hand pump in her ward.
During the meeting, Collector Dr. Bhure instructed officials of the concerned department to take action on the applications received. Along with Additional Collector Mr. B.B. Panchbhai, all SDMs and concerned officers were present to address the public’s concerns.
Jan Chaupal meetings provide a vital platform for individuals to raise their concerns and seek redressal for their problems. The district administration has taken steps to ensure that these meetings are held regularly and are accessible to everyone. Through such efforts, the administration aims to promote transparency and accountability in governance, and ensure that the voices of citizens are heard.
