The Chhattisgarh Labor Department, under the government’s initiatives, continues to provide valuable assistance to beneficiaries, with a special focus on maternal and child health. Through the Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana, pregnant mothers are receiving the care and support they need.
In Mahasamund district alone, 2087 beneficiaries have benefited from the Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana. Mrs. Pramila Yadav, a resident of Subhash Nagar in Mahasamund district, shared her experience of availing the scheme. She received financial assistance of Rs 20,000 under the scheme, thanks to her husband’s registration as a laborer in the Reza category under the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
Pramila Yadav praised the scheme and highlighted that the financial assistance received through the Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana is being used for the well-being and proper care of children. This support plays a significant role in ensuring the health and welfare of pregnant women from laborer families.
The Mini Mata Mahtari Jatan Yojana, initiated by the Chhattisgarh government, is designed to provide essential assistance to pregnant women, especially those working as laborers in the unorganized construction sector or whose husbands are laborers.
