The Chhattisgarh Police Department is undergoing a significant transformation as 21 officers of the State Police Service are being reassigned to new roles ahead of the impending assembly elections. The move, orchestrated by the state government, aims to streamline administrative operations in preparation for the electoral process.
Under the directive of Home Department Under Secretary Manoj Kumar Srivastava, prominent officers such as Santosh Borkar, Mantlu Ram Bhagat, Abhishek Singh, Abhishek Kumar Jha, Rakesh Kumar Kurre, Pushpendra Baghel, Pramod Kumar Gupta, and Neha Verma are among those being transferred.
