A distressing incident unfolded at Anant Sai Hospital, situated within the jurisdiction of Rajendra Nagar police station, as a shocking video surfaced revealing the tragic suicide of a patient.
The video captured the heart-wrenching moment when a patient, identified as 43-year-old Bahadur Baria, hanged precariously from the third-floor window of the hospital. As another individual rushed to aid the patient, he tragically leaped from the height, resulting in his demise.
The deceased, Bahadur Baria, hailing from Patmal police station in Bargarh, Odisha, had been admitted to the hospital since November 16 due to prolonged illness. Regrettably, on the fateful day, he chose to end his life by jumping from the hospital’s bathroom window.
The Rajendra Nagar Police have initiated an investigation into this distressing incident to ascertain the circumstances leading to the tragic event.
The authorities are actively probing the matter to unveil the sequence of events and any underlying causes that led to this unfortunate act of self-harm.
