In a startling development, five individuals have been apprehended in Noida for their involvement in supplying snakes and their venom for alleged rave parties that were purportedly organized by popular social media sensation Elvish Yadav. According to the police, these parties were held at various farmhouses in Delhi and its neighboring regions.
The suspects have revealed that Elvish Yadav employed the snakes to create content for his YouTube and Instagram channels. However, the shocking twist in the story is that the snake venom was reportedly consumed by attendees at these rave parties, which also purportedly hosted foreign nationals.
The First Information Report (FIR) associated with this case names six individuals, including Elvish Yadav. While five of the accused have been taken into custody, Elvish Yadav has not been arrested as of yet.
The seized evidence includes nine snakes, among them five cobras, as well as snake venom. These confiscated reptiles have been handed over to the Forest Department for proper handling.
The arrests came following a raid on a rave party in Noida’s Sector 49, which took place late in the evening. The raid was initiated after an animal welfare non-governmental organization (NGO) raised concerns and filed a complaint.
