Raipur Police conducted a successful operation near Yaduvanshi Chowk, situated in Hirapur under the jurisdiction of Kabir Nagar police station, resulting in the apprehension of suspects in possession of a banned drug. Approximately 15 grams of the banned substance heroin, commonly referred to as “Chitta,” valued at around Rs 1,50,000, was confiscated from the accused during the operation. The police have registered a case, Crime number 246/2023, against the individuals under Section 22(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at the Kabir Nagar police station, initiating further legal procedures related to the seizure and apprehension.
