Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been sentenced to two years in jail by the Surat District Court in a criminal defamation case filed against him in 2019 for his alleged “Modi surname” remarks. Collector Mr. Kuldeep Sharma presented a laptop to visually impaired student Bhupesh Kumar Deshlhara of Nahanda village in Gunderdehi development block of the district on Tuesday, March 21, in his room. According to the information received by the police on March 21st, two individuals were carrying bags of marijuana near Gandhi Garden located in the Civil Lines area and were looking for customers to sell it to. A team from the Civil Lines police station went to the Gandhi Garden and identified the individuals mentioned in the report, and two people on a bike were caught. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has announced a new scheme to provide unemployment allowance to educated unemployed individuals in the state. According to the scheme, eligible applicants will receive a monthly allowance of Rs 2500 from April 1, 2023, onwards.
