The scheme aims to increase the income of farmers and institutions by promoting commercial plantation and ensuring a strong market system for forest produce. The Chhattisgarh government has approved a total amount of Rs 203 crore for various development works in municipal corporations across the state. Among the projects to be undertaken are road widening, construction of flyovers, riverfront development, and the construction of an auditorium.
