The highly-anticipated Pathan trailer has finally been released, and unfortunately, it seems to be a major disappointment. After a four-year hiatus, Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the screen was highly anticipated, but it seems the trailer falls short of expectations. While some may argue that the trailer was poorly made and the movie may be better, it’s hard to find anything positive to say about it.
One bright spot in the trailer is John Abraham, who seems to be the only one on screen who looks natural and normal. However, even his acting seems to be the same as in his previous movies. The wig on Shah Rukh’s head is a huge distraction, and it’s hard to tell if it’s a part of the movie or just a poorly-executed wardrobe choice. The removal of the soft porn scenes featuring Deepika Padukone from the trailer may be a result of the current outrage.
It’s hard to say what the movie will be like, but based on the trailer, it’s not looking good. The paid movie critics and SRK fan club based in Pakistan and India have already started counting collections and how the movie trailer will be played on the Burj Khalifa, but for those who haven’t seen the trailer, it’s probably better to save your money and skip this one.
