In the aftermath of the brutal attack on Bhaiyathan Yuva Morcha Mandal President Aman Pratap Singh and three other BJP workers in Surguja’s Surajpur, Chhattisgarh state BJP spokesperson Anurag Singhdev has condemned the Congress government, accusing them of targeting BJP leaders in Surguja as well as Bastar. According to Singhdev, the contract for the attack was given to the mafia, who carried out the vicious assault on the BJP workers with rods and sticks after attempting to offer them a Scorpio. He alleges that sand mafia vehicles are openly transported under administrative protection, and the government has given mafias exemption to carry out criminal activities in the state.
Singhdev asserts that the Congress government has failed to maintain law and order, and the morale of criminals is high. He emphasizes that the BJP is not afraid of such conspiracies, having previously fought against the oppressive Congress during the Emergency and uprooted the first Hitlerite Congress of Chhattisgarh. Singhdev warns that democracy is in danger in Chhattisgarh, and the general public, as well as opposition leaders, are at risk due to the Congress’ attempts to suppress democracy by spreading terror.
Singhdev accuses the Congress of being a conspiratorial party that can hatch heinous plots for political gain, and cites instances of their MLAs threatening their own minister’s life. He claims that the BJP is ready to fight against every kind of oppression and will ensure that the government of oppression collapses, leading to a government of development and peace. He warns that the Bhupesh Baghel government is hammering nails into its coffin by conspiring against democracy.
The situation in Chhattisgarh is alarming, and the government must take strict action against the perpetrators of the attack on the BJP workers. The BJP must also exercise restraint and refrain from making baseless allegations against the ruling party without concrete evidence. Both parties must work together to ensure the safety and security of the people of Chhattisgarh and uphold the principles of democracy.
