Raipur, Chhattisgarh – The ninth installment of the Employment Fair unfolded today at the auditorium of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Raipur. The event witnessed the distribution of appointment letters to 228 selected candidates by the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Smt. Renuka Singh. Also present during this auspicious occasion was the Chief Postmaster General of Chhattisgarh Circle, Smt. Veena Srinivas, and other senior officials from the department.
Organized by the Indian Postal Department, the Employment Fair-9 facilitated the recruitment of candidates in various government departments, including the Indian Postal Department, Central Public Works Department, Central Goods and Services Tax, Geological Survey of India, Indian Overseas Bank, and Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister of State Smt. Renuka Singh underscored the pivotal role that these newly appointed youth will play in India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation in the “Amrit Kaal” (a period of rejuvenation and growth). She congratulated the selected candidates and urged them not to view government jobs solely as a means of livelihood but as a platform for social service and national contribution. Smt. Renuka Singh encouraged the youth to collaborate with the public during their government service, assisting them in overcoming challenges and issues.
She further highlighted the Government of India’s commitment to providing ten lakh jobs, with over nine lakh positions already filled across various Central Government departments. Smt. Renuka Singh emphasized that appointments during the nine-year tenure of the NDA government have been conducted with transparency. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the Central Government is committed to filling all vacant positions across ministries and departments, ensuring comprehensive workforce coverage.
