In a significant operation, Raipur Police arrested four individuals from Maharashtra and confiscated approximately 57 kg of ganja, along with two cars involved in the incident. This operation was carried out under the provisions of the Narcotics Act by the Mandir Hasaud Police Station.
The arrested individuals were attempting to smuggle ganja from Odisha to Maharashtra, underscoring the widespread nature of drug trafficking. Raipur Police’s vigilant efforts thwarted their plans and led to the seizure of ganja valued at ₹16,00,000, as well as four mobile phones and two cars bearing Maharashtra registration numbers.
