The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in Odisha has ordered a five-day remand for the prime accused in the murder case of Health Minister Naba Das, former ASI Gopal Krishna Das. The court has also granted permission for the Crime Branch to conduct narco analysis and polygraph tests on Das as part of the investigation. The remand will end on February 13th. A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, Binu M, attached to the 85th Battalion, committed suicide on Tuesday morning in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur. According to reports, the 37-year-old shot himself with his service rifle inside his barrack in the battalion headquarters around 9.30 am. When colleagues rushed to the barrack after hearing the gunshot, they found Binu lying in a pool of blood. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he was declared brought dead.
