In an effort to curb this practice, the Drug Administration Department has written a letter to all the districts and ordered the confiscation of these medicines. Raipur Police continued their crackdown on drug trafficking, arresting two individuals from Punjab for delivering brown sugar. They were caught red-handed by a joint team of the anti-crime and cyber unit and Saraswati Nagar police, based on a tip received on February 3rd. A BJP leader in Chhattisgarh, India was murdered by Maoists with sharp weapons while attending a wedding in his ancestral village.
