Raipur is gearing up for the oath-taking ceremony of newly elected Chhattisgarh Chief Minister, Vishnudev Sai, scheduled on December 13 at the Science College Ground. The event is expected to witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cabinet members, Chief Ministers from various states, eminent personalities, and a large turnout of citizens.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and safe arrangements during the ceremony, the Traffic Police Raipur has released a detailed plan:
Parking Categories:
- MIP Parking (Stage Dignitaries): Designated for individuals seated on the program stage. Entry is through Hostel Tiraha via Raipura Chowk, Gol Chowk, DD Nagar Marg, leading to the MIP parking adjacent to the venue.
- Family Parking: Intended for family members of ministers and MLAs. Access via Hostel Tiraha to DDU Auditorium’s FAMILY PARKING.
- VVIP Parking (Sectors 01, 02, 03, 04): Different sectors allotted for VVIP pass holders, each with specific entry routes and parking locations.
- Media Parking: Dedicated space at the NIT campus for all electronic and print media vehicles.
Alternate Routes for Distinguished Visitors:
- Various National Highways detailed for entry points from different districts with specific parking locations at Mahoba market, Arihant Nagar Sarona, CSEB Daganiya, and Idgah Maidan.
