In order to benefit the youth, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed an increase in the number of posts advertised for the recruitment of I.T.I. training officers from 366 to 920. The Director of Employment and Training has issued a revised advertisement, and those who have already applied need not reapply. Eligible candidates from Chhattisgarh will be considered for recruitment, with the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board responsible for conducting the recruitment for these posts. The online application process began on May 8th, and recruitment is ongoing.
In line with a Supreme Court order, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel conducted a meeting with higher officials and gave necessary instructions to increase the posts available for the recruitment of training officers. The department’s revised advertisement shows an increase in the number of posts available for electricians from 51 to 90, computer operator and programming assistant from 86 to 242, carpenters from 2 to 9, turners from 6 to 10, fitters from 48 to 100, mechanics (tractor) from 2 to 3, mechanics (diesel) from 32 to 90, mechanics (motor vehicle) from 5 to 7, workshop calculation and engineering drawing from 72 to 234, wireman from 2 to 6, welder from 30 to 89, sheet metal worker from 1 to 3, sewing technology from 6 to 12, and hospital housekeeping from 2 to 4.
The number of posts for information and communication technology system maintenance (1 post), driver cum mechanic (6 posts), draftsman mechanical (1 post), machinist (4 posts), machinist grinder (1 post), mason (building constructor) (1 post), mechanic refrigeration and air conditioner (2 posts), secretarial practice (English) (2 posts), and employability skill (3 posts) has not changed.
