Chhattisgarh’s National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) is set to kickstart its campaign ‘Baat hey Swabhiman Ke Hamar Pehli Voting Ke’ aimed at reaching out to first-time voters in all colleges across the state. The initiative will commence on July 26th at the prestigious Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Auditorium in Raipur.
The program will be inaugurated by the successful Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, and will witness the presence of key dignitaries, including PCC State Incharge Sailja Kumari, PCC State President Mr. Deepak Baij, NSUI National President Mr. Neeraj Kundan, and NSUI State Incharge Mr. Vishal Chowdhary.
NSUI State President, Neeraj Pandey, expressed that the campaign aims to inspire first-time voters to exercise their right to vote. By connecting with college students through the ‘Baat hey Swabhiman Ke Hamar Pehli Voting Ke’ campaign, they will inform them about various government employment and educational programs. Additionally, the youth will be enlightened about the government’s welfare schemes, fostering better communication between the administration and the student community.
Harshad Sharma, the National Media Chairman of NSUI, asserted that in the forthcoming days, they plan to acquaint every first-time voter in Chhattisgarh with the Congress government’s achievements over the past five years. Understanding the concerns of students, their issues will be duly considered and integrated into the upcoming election manifesto of the Congress party.
The NSUI’s National President, Neeraj Kundan, will be present in Raipur throughout the day on Wednesday, engaging in the campaign’s inauguration and interacting with state NSUI office-bearers and district presidents.
This initiative by Chhattisgarh NSUI holds immense significance as it aims to empower the youth and foster civic engagement among first-time voters. By highlighting the government’s accomplishments and addressing student concerns, the campaign seeks to create an informed and active electorate, ensuring their voices are heard in the democratic process.
