However, they lost to Punjab in a closely contested tie-breaker but were given another chance to compete. The women’s team also had a strong start but eventually lost to the previous champions, Kerala, and the pool topper, Punjab. Despite the losses, Chhattisgarh’s record-breaking performance in the championship is a testament to their excellence in the sport.
