Union Minister Giriraj Singh is set to commence a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh today, focusing on discussions with Panchayati Raj officials and engaging in various programs aimed at rural development. The visit is scheduled to begin at 12 noon, with Giriraj Singh holding a meeting at the New Circuit House in Raipur with officials from rural development, land resources, and Panchayati Raj.
Following the meeting in Raipur, Giriraj Singh will proceed to Korba, where he has a packed itinerary for the next two days. The Union Minister is slated to attend meetings with district administration officials and participate in local programs aimed at community development.
On the second day of his visit, January 14, Giriraj Singh will actively engage in a cleanliness campaign organized at a local temple in Korba. Additionally, he will participate in programs at village Dhongdarha and village Ranjana, focusing on the development blocks of Korba and Katghora, respectively. The night will be spent at the NTPC Guest House in Korba.
The third day of the visit, January 15, will witness Giriraj Singh’s participation in the PM Janman Yojana program organized at Eklavya Adarsh Vidyalaya, Chhurikala, Development Block, Korba. This significant scheme will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video conference. Subsequently, the Union Minister will depart for Raipur airport and take a flight to New Delhi at 8.25 pm.
Giriraj Singh’s visit underscores the central government’s commitment to rural development and Panchayati Raj initiatives, reflecting a hands-on approach to addressing grassroots challenges and fostering community well-being.
