Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey bid farewell to the state on Monday, receiving a warm send-off from the entire government. The governor departed from the State Hangar in Mana, with state police personnel giving her a guard of honor on the runway. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel also saw her off till the aeroplane. Uikey has been appointed as the Governor of Manipur and left for Delhi from where she will head to Manipur.
After leaving Raj Bhavan, Governor Anusuiya Uikey arrived at Mana airport on Tuesday afternoon. There, senior officers from the ruling party, opposition, and civil-police administration, including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, were present to bid her farewell. Baghel presented the governor with a bouquet, and other officials presented her with shawls. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Additional Chief Secretary Renu G. Pillai, and Subrata Sahu also bid farewell to the Governor. The state police gave a guard of honor to the governor, following which she and the Chief Minister proceeded to the aeroplane in the same car.
