A shocking case of attempted murder came to light in Raipur, where a miscreant attacked a youth with a brick, leaving him in a blood-soaked condition. The incident happened in Kota, Saraswati Nagar police station area, where Mahesh Ghritalhare, a resident of Kota, was attacked by Raju Yadav, who lives in the same area.
On Friday, March 17, Mahesh had gone to a nearby salon for a haircut. While he was at the salon, Raju Yadav arrived and attacked Mahesh with a brick. Raju repeatedly hit Mahesh with the brick, causing profuse bleeding. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera near the salon. After the incident, Mahesh was lying on the road in a blood-soaked condition.
Mahesh managed to seek help from the police through the dial 112 service. The police immediately arrived at the spot and admitted Mahesh to the hospital. The incident came to light, and the police informed Mahesh’s family. Mahesh is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
The police registered a case against Raju Yadav based on Mahesh’s complaint and arrested him in the Kota area itself. During interrogation, Raju revealed that he had a fight with Mahesh a few days ago and attacked him to avenge it. The police have charged Raju under sections 294, 323, 506, and 307.
The incident has left the locals in shock, and they have condemned the brutal attack. The police have assured that strict action will be taken against the accused. The incident also highlights the importance of CCTV cameras for surveillance and ensuring the safety of citizens.
