Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh – Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel attended the ‘Swabhiman Mahasammelan’ organized by Sarva Yadav Samaj at Kala Kendra Maidan in Ambikapur, the headquarters of Surguja division. The event saw the presence of community leaders and members of the Yadav society. Chief Minister Baghel offered prayers to Lord Krishna and extended his wishes for the prosperity and progress of the people of the state.
During the event, Chief Minister Baghel announced the establishment of a milk processing center in Surguja to promote the white revolution, which aims to encourage milk trade. He also announced a sum of Rs. 50 lakh for the social building of the Yadav society.
Responding to the demand of forest rights lease, Chief Minister Baghel directed the concerned departments to give leases to all eligible beneficiaries after checking their eligibility according to the provisions laid down under the Forest Rights Lease Act.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Baghel congratulated and extended his best wishes for the Swabhiman Sammelan organized by Sarva Yadav Samaj, Surguja. He emphasized the important contributions of the Yadav community in the history of the state and the country. Chief Minister Baghel said that the Chhattisgarh government is continuously working for the progress of the people of the state.
Health Minister T.S. Singhdev also addressed the event, highlighting the important role played by the Yadav community in the progress of Surguja. Food and Culture Minister Amarjit Bhagat also spoke at the event, praising the simplicity of the Yadav society and the similarities between the tribal and Yadav communities.
Several other officials and social leaders, including School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Parliamentary Secretary Chintamani Maharaj, and members of various commissions and boards, were present at the event.
The establishment of the milk processing center and the announcement of funds for the social building of the Yadav society are expected to boost the economic and social development of Surguja and the state of Chhattisgarh as a whole.
