Abhanpur-Vishakhapatnam: In a concerning development surrounding the NH-130 CD (NHAI Scam) project under the BHARATMALA initiative, farmers in Abhanpur find themselves embroiled in a mixed conspiracy involving NHAI and the AVN government.
Since 2020, the farmers of Abhanpur took a step forward for the progress of the country by providing their land for the NHAI AVN government’s project. They believed that in return, they would receive due compensation, but the money has not been forthcoming despite the completion of the work.
Similar issues were faced by farmers in Bilaspur for more than a decade, with no resolution in sight despite prolonged battles with AVN NHAI. Now, the farmers of Abhanpur fear they might encounter the same fate.
The AVN NHAI’s tactics to deceive the farmers have left them frustrated and betrayed. The promises made by Hardin SDM and NHAI of fair treatment have turned out to be empty, and innocent farmers are being cheated on a daily basis.
Taking a stand against the injustice, the farmers have decided to halt work completely from 03/07/2023 until the government and NHAI fulfill their commitments and provide the rightful compensation for land acquisition.
The farmers of Abhanpur refuse to face the same fate as their counterparts in Bilaspur and are determined to assert their rights and seek justice. They call upon all fellow farmers to join forces in raising their voices against this injustice.
NHAI’s work will come to a standstill as farmers unite in a powerful protest against the delay in land acquisition compensation.
