During the Farmers cum Workers Conference in Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Member of Parliament Mallikarjun Kharge launched the Chief Minister Construction Workers Pension Assistance Scheme. This significant initiative is aimed at providing financial support to registered construction workers who have completed ten years of registration and reached the age of 60 or above. These eligible workers will receive a monthly pension assistance of Rs 1500 for their entire life, ensuring financial security during their retirement years.
Additionally, during the conference, both leaders unveiled the third installment of Rs 1895 crore for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. This initiative is designed to benefit farmers, with a total of 24.52 lakh farmers receiving financial support through this program. The scheme aims to alleviate the financial burdens faced by farmers and contribute to their overall well-being.
These initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to the welfare and empowerment of both construction workers and farmers, ensuring a better quality of life for these vital sections of society.
