Suraj Kumar Manikpuri, the accused who stole gold jewelry worth lakhs of rupees by breaking the lock of the shutter of a jewelry shop in the police station Pandari area, was caught by Raipur Police on October 30, 2023. The stolen money worth Rs 6,00,000/_ was seized from his possession and after taking due action from the police station Pandari, he was sent to judicial custody.
Manikpuri was arrested after a tip-off from a local informer. The police raided his house and recovered the stolen jewelry from there. Manikpuri has confessed to the crime and he is currently under judicial custody.
