In a swift response to a brutal attack on a family in Raipur, the police have apprehended a history-sheeter and his two associates, shedding light on an old rivalry as the motive behind the crime. The incident occurred in the Civil Line police station area.
The victim, Firoza Bano, filed an FIR at the police station on January 11, narrating a history of disputes with a local resident named Dilkash Ali. On the fateful day around 6 pm, as Firoza was washing utensils in front of her house, Dilkash arrived with his friends Tabeez and Sahil. The trio, driven by past animosities, confronted Firoza, her daughter, and her husband Ali Hasan, unleashing obscenities.
When Firoza and her daughter resisted the verbal abuse, the accused resorted to physical violence. Upon Ali Hasan’s intervention to quell the dispute, the attackers turned on him, assaulting him with a knife and inflicting a severe injury to his right thigh. Bleeding profusely, Ali Hasan was swiftly rushed to the hospital by bystanders while the assailants fled the scene.
The Raipur police, upon receiving information about the incident, launched a comprehensive search operation involving the Anti Crime Unit, Cyber Unit, and Civil Line Police Station personnel. Through meticulous investigation and the aid of nearby CCTV cameras, the police identified the culprits as Dilkash Ali, Tabeez Ali, and Sahil Ali, residents of Lodhi Para Pandari.
All three accused were subsequently arrested, and the police recovered the knife used in the crime during the apprehension. The Civil Line Police are currently undertaking further actions in the case.
The incident highlights the prompt and efficient response of the Raipur police in addressing acts of violence and ensuring the swift arrest of the perpetrators. Investigations into the deep-rooted rivalry between the involved parties are ongoing, emphasizing the importance of community safety and conflict resolution in the region.
