Kanker, Chhattisgarh: A tragic accident took place near Korar village in Kanker district, leaving seven students dead. The students were travelling in an auto that was hit by a truck, resulting in their untimely demise. According to ANI, four other students and the auto driver were injured in the accident and are receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Korar.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased and assured full medical support to those who were injured. He also tweeted about the incident and instructed the administration to provide all possible help. The Health Department has been directed to provide necessary support and assistance.
The students were returning home from school when the accident occurred. The truck, which was speeding, rammed into the auto from the front, causing the three-wheeler to fly and break into pieces. The scene of the accident was heart-wrenching, with the auto in a mangled state.
The students who lost their lives in the accident were all young, aged between 5 to 8 years old. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families during this difficult time.
