Raipur: Pratham Dubey, known by the alias Om Bhancha, and a resident of Raipura near Kota Saraswati Nagar, has been arrested by law enforcement authorities. The arrest comes after a video depicting Pratham Dubey’s threatening actions with a desi katta went viral. Pratham Dubey, a habitual criminal with a history of past offenses, was apprehended by a joint team from the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit along with the DD Nagar police station.
The viral video, showcasing Pratham Dubey brandishing a desi katta and intimidating a person, caught the attention of senior police officers. Taking the matter seriously, the in-charge of the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit, along with the station in-charge of DD Nagar, were instructed to swiftly locate and apprehend Pratham Dubey.
In response, a joint effort was launched by the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit in coordination with the DD Nagar police station. The team meticulously traced Pratham Dubey’s whereabouts, meticulously searching potential hiding places. Ultimately, their efforts bore fruit, leading to the apprehension of the accused in the Thana DD Nagar area.
Upon his arrest, law enforcement officers discovered that Pratham Dubey had a bag in his possession. A search of the bag yielded alarming findings – a desi katta and a substantial quantity of ganja. In light of these discoveries, the authorities formally arrested Pratham Dubey alias Om Bhancha.
The accused now faces legal action under multiple charges, including the Arms Act and Narcotic Act. The charges have been registered against Pratham Dubey at the DD Nagar police station. The successful operation serves as a testament to law enforcement’s commitment to swiftly address threats and criminal activities within the community.
