In Lalpur area, Raipur, a tense situation arose at the MMI Hospital following a bomb threat, prompting immediate police intervention. The threat, which targeted the hospital, prompted law enforcement to swiftly mobilize bomb disposal and dog squads to the Tikrapara police station area.
According to available details, an unidentified individual made a threatening call to the hospital’s OPD incharge. Raipur Police confirmed that the youth responsible for the threat has been taken into custody. The call, allegedly made from a mobile phone in the Kalibari area, was reportedly not from the suspect’s device but was placed using someone else’s mobile.
Upon receiving the alert, teams from the bomb disposal squad and dog squad thoroughly searched the hospital premises but found no evidence of any explosive device. The motive behind the threat made by the detained youth remains undisclosed as of now, raising questions about the circumstances that led to this alarming incident.
