Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel presided over a momentous event today as he inaugurated the magnificent Lord Shri Ram statue and several significant infrastructure projects under the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit. This auspicious ceremony unfolded in Mukundpur, Nagari-Sihawa, marking a significant stride in the development of this region.
Among the notable infrastructure inaugurated are the stunning Lord Shri Ram statue, Shri Ram Vatika, a lamp pillar, LED branding installations, statues of Saptarishi, an entrance gate, a cottage, parking facilities, approach roads, a tourist information center, and the construction of a culvert. These developments have been completed at a total cost of Rs 8 crore 29 lakh, enhancing the tourism experience for visitors to Mukundpur.
Furthermore, the comprehensive development also encompasses the construction of cottages, lawn beautification, CCTV installations, a Yagyashala (ritual site), public convenience centers, drainage systems, electrification, an overhead water tank, staircases, modular shops, site development, and a guard room. Additional works feature the curtain wall adorned with murals, entrance gates, railings, sheds, gazebos, beautification efforts, Yagyashala installations atop the hill, internal plumbing, pathway development in Shringi Rishi Ashram, and the enhancement of the Hanuman temple in Shringi Rishi Ashram Sihawa.
The occasion was graced by the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Chairman of State Cow Service Commission Mahant Ramsundar Das, Sihawa MLA and Vice Chairman of Madhya Kshetra Tribal Development Authority Dr. Lakshmi Dhruv, Vice Chairman of State Scheduled Tribe Commission Ms. Rajkumari Diwan, Shri Jitendra Shukla (Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board), Collector Shri Rituraj Raghuvanshi, Superintendent of Police Shri Prashant Thakur, local public representatives, and senior officials.
