Raipur Police recently intervened to prevent the illegal resale of tickets for the highly anticipated Ind vs Aus ODI match scheduled for tomorrow. The crackdown led to the detention of individuals engaged in unauthorized ticket resale across various locations within the Kotwali police station area.
The individuals apprehended in connection with this illegal activity were identified as Anil Jangade, Akash Kumar Dhiwar from Tulsi Baradera Mandir Hasaud, and Bablu Nayak and Ashish Mishra from Civil Lines. Law enforcement officials successfully confiscated a total of 13 tickets from their possession during the operation.
Immediate legal action has been initiated against the accused individuals under relevant prohibitory sections, as registered at the Kotwali police station. The Raipur Police Department remains vigilant in combating any attempts at illegal ticket resale, ensuring fair access to genuine spectators.
