Bollywood actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66 on Wednesday in Delhi due to a heart attack. The sudden news of his demise left the Hindi film industry in shock, with many expressing their condolences on social media.
Satish Kaushik was reportedly travelling in a car in Delhi when he suffered a heart attack. His body will be brought to Mumbai on Thursday for his last rites.
Anupam Kher, who was a close friend and colleague of Satish Kaushik, expressed his grief on Twitter. He wrote, “I know ‘death is the ultimate truth of this world!’ But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you SATISH! Om Shanti!”
Satish Kaushik started his career with theatre and went on to act in Hindi cinema. He made his debut in the 1983 film “Masoom” and went on to appear in numerous films, including “Mr. India,” “Ram Lakhan,” and “Saathiya.” He also directed several films, including “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja,” “Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai,” and “Tere Naam.”
Satish Kaushik was known for his versatility as an actor and his contribution to Indian cinema will always be remembered. The entire Hindi film industry mourns his loss and sends their condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
