Raipur, Chhattisgarh – The Sneha Milan ceremony organized by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya was attended by several political leaders in Chhattisgarh, including Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant, and Leader of Opposition Mr. Narayan Chandel. The event took place at Shanti Sarovar in Raipur.
During the ceremony, attendees paid tribute to Late Kamla Didi, former regional director of Shanti Sarovar, by offering flowers at her tomb. Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant highlighted the importance of spiritual peace in today’s world, saying that a peaceful mind is necessary for serving the people well.
Regional Director Bramhakumari Hemlata Didi invited all ministers and legislators to participate in a three-day Rajyoga camp at Mount Abu, emphasizing the need for ethics and spirituality in today’s world.
National President of Religious Services Division, Brahmakumari Manorama Didi, who came from Prayagraj, spoke of the emotional significance of the land and praised Mount Abu as a holy site.
Several ministers and parliamentary secretaries were also present at the event, including Health Minister Shri T.S. Singhdeo, Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey, and Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam. In the Sneh Milan function, child artistes from Raipur presented a dance on the Dhar Geet of the state song Arpa Pari, which enthralled everyone.
The dignitaries were honored by providing shawls and mementos at the end of the event. The ceremony was a testimony to the importance of spirituality and ethics in today’s world, and the significance of coming together to celebrate these values.
