In a heart-wrenching incident in the district, a minor lover couple attempted suicide by consuming poison. The incident took place in the Urga police station area, near Sargabundia station. Both the young individuals were found unconscious, and concerned passengers immediately alerted the authorities through the helpline 112.
The couple was rushed to the District Medical College in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the girlfriend tragically succumbed to the effects of the poison during treatment. Currently, the condition of the young male partner remains serious, and he continues to receive medical attention.
