In a significant operation, the Durg Police have apprehended a psychotropic drugs dealer in the Cantonment area. Law enforcement authorities from Durg discovered a substantial stash of psychoactive drugs, including Tramadol capsules and Alfazolam tablets, exceeding commercial quantities. The estimated value of the seized intoxicants is around Rs 2,50,000.
The accused, who was actively involved in the illegal distribution of psychoactive drugs within the Cantonment area, has been taken into custody. The Durg Police action resulted in the arrest of four individuals, including one juvenile, who were allegedly involved in activities contrary to the law.
This operation was executed as a joint effort between the Durg Police’s Anti-Crime Unit and the Cyber Unit Durg, showcasing the police force’s commitment to curbing the circulation of illegal psychotropic substances.
