The Congress organization has taken a stern stance following an alarming hit-and-run case, suspending NSUI State Secretary, Amin Srivastava. The decision came as a directive from Neeraj Pandey, the state president of the organization. General Secretary in-charge, Hemant Pal, executed the suspension by issuing an official letter. A four-member team has been commissioned to thoroughly investigate the incident.
The incident allegedly involved a dispute between Sidhu Namdev, a resident of Gondapara, and Abhijeet Srivastava from the same locality at a nearby grocery shop. The altercation led to a physical confrontation between the two individuals, subsequently diffused by friends accompanying Namdev. Abhijeet Srivastava, in response, reportedly contacted his brother, Amin Srivastava, conveying the details of the incident.
Shockingly, NSUI State Secretary Amin Srivastava arrived at the scene in his car, accompanied by some individuals, and allegedly ran over Manjeet Soni and Sidhu Namdev, who were walking along the road after the altercation. The perpetrators then fled the scene.
The suspension of Amin Srivastava by the Congress organization indicates a stringent approach towards the matter, pending the outcome of the investigation conducted by the appointed team.
